This History Channel documentary has been around for a while, yet I thought I should at least make a link to it as its still worth 45 minutes of a viewer's time... or I could be wrong? Enjoy, yet do not let these issues detract from the greater weapon we have inside of us all...

A Future of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR)

The issue of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) is something which I have returned to various times. Again, it is in the UK news.

Recently there was a news report here in Britain whereby 'specialists' were recommending parents not to let their children place a laptop computer onto their laps whilst working. The Telegraph in their article 'Warning on wi-fi health risk to children' talk of:

Children should not place computers on their laps while they are using wireless internet connections because of potential health risks, according to a leading Government adviser. A leading Government adviser warns of potential health risks to children using laptops with wireless internet connections.

Professor Lawrie Challis, who heads the committee on mobile phone safety research, called yesterday for pupils to be monitored amid mounting public concern over emissions from wi-fi networks. He is concerned that few studies have been carried out into the level of exposure in classrooms and believes that if health problems do emerge they are likely to be more serious in children.

Also, next week the well-known and reputable UK documentary program - BBC's 'Panorama' - are doing a broadcast on the possible dangers of mobile phones and EMR.

In the UK we also have the problem/issue of TETRA - which is a radio-mast network set-up throughout the UK to provide communications for the emergency services, especially the police force. And there have already been concerns about this network, which is out of the reach of civil authorities since it deals with security communications of 'national interest'.

The New Apollo Program

Brian O'Leary was a NASA scientist-astronaut, assistant professor of astronomy at Cornell University alongside Carl Sagan, and has also taught Physics for Poets and Princeton University (see bio) who over the past twenty years has researched, lectured and written extensively about new paradigms of science and global transformation.

His most recent book Re-Inheriting the Earth describes how we can lift out of ourselves out of our current path of global destruction. Much of his work is based on extensive international travels to some of the best and brightest researchers of new science, new medicine and "free" energy.

He goes on to say:

I asked, "How can the scientific method be applied to studying experiences such as psychic healing, transcendental consciousness, survival after death, communication with nonhuman intelligence, crop circles, and many other things that demand unbiased examination?" I was at first surprised to discover that these fields were scientifically further developed than I had imagined, but none of them had yet been integrated into the mainstream. Some of them had, in fact, been suppressed...

...My current passion is to release our enormous human potential to balance the Earth's environment. This massive task needn't neccessarily force us to immediately adopt radical new technologies before they are thoroughly researched and debated. Free energy is a dramatic example of what could be done to transcend our polluting ways, but we will need to learn to use this resource wisely. Just in case this is abused by military interests, I would go for low technology solutions as backup, for example, hemp biomass, solar, and wind power.

The Schumann Resonance

I was recently thinking about the different brain states we pass through during an average day - from waking up, to early attempts to focus ourselves, to creative moments, to relaxation (or stress!), to meditation, to sleep, to deep dreaming - the human brain states have been characterised as four types: delta, theta, alpha, beta.

This got me thinking about what I had heard some time back about the Schumann resonances, which are the spectrum of the natural Earth ELF (extremely low frequency) signals that pulsate between the Earth's crust and ionosphere, and which share some frequencies with our own little human brain. I remember reading about this in Itzhak Bentov's 'Stalking the Wild Pendulum' - a book that I had enjoyed albeit with some reservations about the eagerness of the author and his writing...

Anyway, as I am interested in the effects of electromagnetism (EM) on the human mind + body I was reminded also that this ELF correspondence can be used for understandings in human health.

As human beings we have extraordinary potentials we have hardly begun to study, much less understand. Creative gifts, intuitions and talents that are unpredictable or emergent may become stabilised in generations to come.
