Our electromagnetic environment

Just to continue what has been posted previously, the scientific researcher Robert Becker, author of 'Cross Currents: Perils of Electropollution, the Promise of Electromedicine' has, like others, reinforced the notion of our present state of affairs by saying that:

"Our use of energy for power and communication has radically changed the total electromagnetic field of the Earth. Because we cannot directly perceive this with any of our senses, most of us are unaware that it has occurred. Before 1900, the Earth's electromagnetic field was composed simply of the field and its associated micropulsations, visible light, and random discharges of lightning. Today, we swim in a sea of energy that is almost totally man-made...

...the data obtained in the past few years indicate very clearly that we must now include the Earth's normal geomagnetic field as an environmental variable of great consequence when we deal with the basic functions of living things."

Why is the body so susceptible to magnetism - is their something inside us that responds to magnetic fields? More to come on this.

Wireless Power - an electrical flood?

In a Wired article titled - 'Space Geeks Seek Wireless Power' - the subject of generating power by converting it to lasers or microwaves, then beaming it to another point and reconvert it into electricity, is discussed. In this system,it could 'beam power to hard-to-reach rural areas without running expensive power lines -- or could even beam it down to Earth from power stations in space.'

This is an interesting addition to recent posts on electromagnetic + other forms of wave-radiation. The technology for beaming microwave power from solar-powered satellites is now about possible. Yet how will these additional microwave beams, to be converted into electricity, further complicate our already wave-saturated environment in terms of public health and state of mind?

Also, as the article states: "the U.S. military is developing a new class of potentially non-lethal "directed-energy weapons" that could create a Star Trek-esque world of warfare. Set the phaser to stun or kill, depending on the situation.

Defense contractor Raytheon actually delivered an energy-weapon prototype to the Pentagon earlier this year, and some believe such weapons could see combat in Iraq and Afghanistan by late 2006. Meanwhile, the idea of wireless energy transmission continues to evoke on-and-off interest from governments around the world."

Would this lead to terrestrial networks of power-beaming stations that could fuel electric cars and other vehicles? One such plan would involve building 20,000 to 30,000 reception stations on Earth to accept the power beams and convert them into electricity that could be distributed to the population. How would so many receiver stations affect human biological functioning, cognition, and evolution?

The future is both fascinating and scary.

The entangled universe & the resurrected human

I wish to return to a topic mentioned previously here: biological coherence, and cell fields.

Mae Wan Ho, author of the recent 'The Rainbow and the Worm: The Physics of Organisms', talks of the liquid crystal nature of the human organism and its DNA. She says that:

"...the activities of the organism are fully coordinated in a continuum from the macroscopic to the molecular. The organism is coherent beyond our wildest dreams. Every part is in communication with every other part through a dynamic, tunable, responsive, liquid crystalline medium that pervades the whole body, from organs and tissues to the interior of every cell...

...the visible body just happens to be where the wave function of the organism is most dense. Invisible quantum waves are spreading out from each of us and permeating into all other organisms. At the same time, each of us has the waves of every other organism entangled within our own make-up...We are participants in the creation drama that is constantly unfolding. We are constantly co-creating and re-creating ourselves and other organisms in the universe, shaping our common futures, making our dreams come true, and realizing our potentials and ideals.'

In this wonderful sense, we are also the 'chaotic or divine attractor' of universal forces. Our negativity or positivity influences how we 'participate' in our 'entangled universe' since it has now been scientifically proven that we share - or mesh - all of our biological energy fields.

We should remember that all fields operate at all levels - 'As Above, So Below' - and that we have a responsibility at our level since 'the higher incorporates the lower into its service, changing the nature of the lower into that of the higher, until that which was lowest is lifted to the highest, wherein we have risen and gone beyond all limitations and constraint: the resurrected human.'(J.C.Pearce)

Increasing fluctuations?

Some interesting news documents have come to light that examine the use of vibrational frequencies during warfare:

In 1991 during the 1st Gulf War Invasion, Britain's ITV News services ran a story titled 'A Psy-Ops Bonanza on the Desert', followed by 'High Tech Psychological Warfare Arrives in the Middle East'...

...according to Lt. Col. David Dean's US report 'Low-Intensity Conflict and Modern Technology'(Maxwell AFB, AL, Washington, DC, Air University Press, Center for Aerospace Doctrine, Research, and Education, 1986. 381p.): 'the potential applications of artificial electromagnetic fields are wide ranging and can be used in many military or quasi-military operations'.

Further, in 1997 the then US Secretary of Defense William S Cohen, at a keystone address at the 'Conference on Terrorism, Weapons of Mass Destruction, and US Strategy' (April 28th), stated that: 'Others are engaging even in an eco-type terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves'. - Does this then imply that some foul-play is at hand during recent geological catastrophic upheavals?

And how will all this affect human brains since it has now been discovered, by scientists at Caltech, that there are 'tiny magnetic particles in the brains of humans, similar to those that have been found in other animals' (cited in LA Times - 'Caltech Scientists Find Particles in Human Brains' - May 12th, 1992). Humans are thus proven to be very susceptible to electromagnetic radiation and pulses.

And how will the increased use of consumer technology affect this?

For now, I can only stress the need for each individual to 'ground themself' in their daily lives. Our own internal 'magnetism' and coherent resonance must be bolstered daily through being mindful, and less emotionally unstable in the face of 'environmental fluctuations' (however, and in whatever form, these may arrive).

The future seems full of potential, as well as being filled with much instability and pending chaos.

Vibrational healing

Again I'm interested in the use of vibrations and electromagnetic pulses (EMP) - both in physical + mental manipulation and coercion, as well as in healing medicine and positive uses. It amazes me that the now recognised fact - verified in both biology and biophysics - that human DNA is liquid crystal and emits biophotons, and that human cells use a form of biophoton emmission for what is now referred to as 'quantum coherence' in order for all cells to have access to bio-information, is not more known about in the general public domain.

Thus, vibrational techniques that access these areas of photon vibrations are particularly influential. So, some recent books that have caught my eye:

- Vibrational Medicine: The Number 1 Handbook of Subtle Energy Therapies

- Cross Currents: Perils of Electropollution, the Promise of Electromedicin

- Esoteric Anatomy: The Body as Consciousness

- Psionic Medicine: The Study and Treatment of the Causative Factors in Illness

If anyone can enlighten me on this subject, please do!

Electromagnetic fields

According to the book 'The Body Electric' by Robert O. Becker, Gary Selden, "the human species has changed its electromagnetic background more than any other aspect of its environment...the density of radio waves around us now is 100 million or 200 million times the natural level reaching us from the sun."

And this has not gone amiss in military applications. A 1997 article in the British Medical Journal (Vol. 315, July 12th, 1997) titled "Non-lethal weapons: precipitating a new arms race" stated that "The ultimate expression of this dilemma is the potential development of race specific weapons based on knowledge of genetic engineering and human genome diversity."

Yet can the human DNA be affected by Electromagnetism (EM)?

An academic article in Bioelectromagnetics 18:111-115 (1997) titled 'Do Electromagnetic fields Interact Directly with DNA?' stated that:

"studies on DNA have shown that large electron flows are possible within the stacked base pairs of the double helix. Therefore, gene activation by magnetic fields could be due to direct interaction with moving electrons within DNA. Electric fields as well as magnetic fields stimulate transcription, and both fields could interact with DNA directly."

Are we being bombarded by our own technological advancement, surrounded by fields of EM in exponential increase as our communications develop?

Can this be misused? In the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists (July/August 1998) in an article title 'All in the (Russian) Mind?' it told of how psychotronic weapons had been developed and tested in Russia. And we know that the US DARPA has been investigating similar projects since the end of WW2.

My question, not to err on the side of conspiracy theories, is to examine whether such EM increases will have a mutational effect upon our own DNA, and affect our physical and spiritual vibrations, and interfere with the natural bio-photon emmissions of our evolving DNA...?

The HAARP installation in Alaska

Picture taken on Dec.11th 2003: it is claimed this is a product of weather pattern manipulation: cloudbusting?

HAARP - dangerous resonance?

The HAARP Program is, according to the official military website:

"HAARP is a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes.

The HAARP program is committed to developing a world class ionospheric research facility consisting of:

* The ionospheric research instrument (IRI), a high power transmitter facility operating in the HF frequency range. The IRI will be used to temporarily excite a limited area of the ionosphere for scientific study.
* A sophisticated suite of Scientific (or "diagnostic") instruments that will be used to observe the physical processes that occur in the excited region."

According to the patent, this research has the potential to:

"...it is possible not only to interfere with third party communications but to take advantage of one or more such beams to carry out a communications network even though the rest of the world's communications are disrupted. Put another way, what is used to disrupt another's communications can be employed by one knowledgeable of this invention as a communication network at the same time."

"... large regions of the atmosphere could be lifted to an unexpectedly high altitude so that missiles encounter unexpected and unplanned drag forces with resultant destruction."

"Weather modification is possible by, for example, altering upper atmosphere wind patterns by constructing one or more plumes of atmospheric particles which will act as a lens or focusing device.

"... molecular modifications of the atmosphere can take place so that positive environmental effects can be achieved.

Yet not only can weather patterns be manipulated...so can human behavioural patterns!

This links in with what ex-US National Security Advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski said more than 25 years ago while a professor at Columbia University:

"Political strategists are tempted to exploit research on the brain and human behavior. Geophysicist Gordon J.F. MacDonald, a specialist in problems of warfare, says accurately-timed, artificially-excited electronic strokes could lead to a pattern of oscillations that produce relatively high power levels over certain regions of the earth ... in this way one could develop a system that would seriously impair the brain performance of very large populations in selected regions over an extended period"

" ... no matter how deeply disturbing the thought of using the environment to manipulate behavior for national advantages, to some, the technology permitting such use will very probably develop within the next few decades."

Vibrational manipulation, whether for medicine, the weather, or social engineering is, I feel, already here and has been for some time.

Harmonic Translation

Following on from what has been posted about frequencies, DNA, and water, I find research into the area of vibrational medicine to be fascinating. In this article - 'Harmonic Translation: The Practical Application of Electronic Medicine', it states that:

"The term harmonic translation refers to the literal translation of biological information into harmonic shifts of sound. Biological information becomes coded into the shift from one musical note to another. The information is not contained in the notes themselves but in the relationship of one note to the next.

To understand what harmonic translation is and how it works as a healing technology, we must first understand the basic concepts this technology is based upon. First off is the idea of information as medicine or often simply called electronic medicine. Most of us are used to thinking of medicine as a substance. This could be an herb, a mineral a chemical or some biological material. Some of us are also use to thinking of energies as medicine as well. These energies could be in the form of light, sound, radio waves and so on. When it comes to information, we are accustomed to thinking about it as being carried by a medium. Information written on a piece of paper or information carried on a radio signal. Only in the last few decades, with the advent of personal computers, have most of us been able for the first time to think of information as a thing all by itself. We hear constantly about information technology, we are told that we live in the information age, and now we come to information as medicine, a logical extension in these times of rapid innovation."

The article goes on to discuss how water, as liquid crystal, becomes the information carrier in the body, and is thus affected by external stimuli (as Emoto's work found).

Also, it may be worthwhile to look at work on Psionic Medicine.

In all, there is much to discover about how our bodies, minds, and emotions, are influenced by vibrations. This will lead me next to discuss the HAARP project.

Can information last forever?

In a recent article titled The Digital Dark Age, the quicker we are to record and store our lives in digital form, the bleaker the future of information looks, it states.

The article asks: 'how can masses of machine-generated, machine-read material be stored in a form that is safe, secure from degradation and - potentially most calamitous in the long term - accessible to subsequent generations?

They fear that rather than ushering mankind into a techno-utopia of paperless offices and clean, eco-friendly, endlessly flexible, virtual communication, it threatens to cast future generations into what Connell describes as a "digital dark age".'

Information, to my understanding, is the key. It is what drives all systems, both living and non-living. And inability to access this information can only lead to entropy - decay. Just as in the physical Dark Ages of the past where knowledge was stored in monasteries and sacred places, latent, and biding its time waiting for the right cultural conditions for its release - so too we may, according to this hypothesis, lie stagnant unable to access our own past knowledge.

Information then must always facilitate access - it should be open and free. Where is the place/space for this? A wireless world of distributed information that is open to all forms of evolving technologies. To be cut off from information may devolve us.

Open source - the spring of life.

More talk on the 'Singularity'

The latest Ray Kurzweil book arrived today: 'The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology'. This is a subject that instead of going away as some 'fad' topics do, but seems to be exponentially increasing in both usage and recognition: both amongst lay persons, academia, as well as the techno-futurologists. The blurb to the book states:

'The great inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil is one of the best-known and most controversial advocates for the role of machines in the future of humanity. In his latest book, he envisions an event—the "singularity"—in which technological change becomes so rapid and so profound that our bodies and brains will merge with our machines.

The Singularity Is Near portrays what life will be like after this event— a human- machine civilization where our experiences shift from real reality to virtual reality and where our intelligence becomes nonbiological and trillions of times more powerful. In practical terms, this means that human aging and pollution will be reversed; world hunger will be solved; our bodies and environment transformed by nanotechnology to overcome the limitations of biology, including death; and virtually any physical product can be created from information alone. The Singularity Is Near also considers the social and philosophical ramifications of these changes, and is certain to be one of the most widely discussed and provocative books of 2005.'

I feel this book will be an important addition to the techno-determinists, as well as the optimistic futurists. I myself am drawn some way into this camp, yet as previously posted I feel it omits the part that conscious evolution needs to play in this path towards collective evolution. However, since I haven't yet read the book I am unable to make comment (and at 600 pages I'll be some time reading it!).

Yet the signs are increasing: and the questions too...How to merge our techno-sociocultural evolution with a conscious one. Will it be a co-merger, or a sacrifice of one to allow the other?

Still too many questions to allow complacency.
